Workshops - Come and have a go!

You will be surprised just how creative you are!  

Come and enjoy making your own professional looking masterpiece made entirely from different types of glass.

​

Workshops are not only fun and colourful but great for time for yourself and  good for your mental health - so vital these days.  Students regularly tell Laura that it has calmed their mind and made them more focused for the week ahead.

​

Laura runs workshops for all abilities at her home studio.  You can of course come on your own and meet new friends or come with friends or family. 

 

Projects will include decorative panels, tealight holders, light catchers and coasters. Laura takes you through the process step by step.  Your work, once finished, is fired in the kiln for approximately 18 hours,the glass is then allowed time to cool and is ready to collect the following week.

Glass comes in a vast array of colours, and different glass types to 'play' with, anything is possible, there is always a colour to suit all tastes. 

​

Laura hosts private workshops for groups of friends who want to spend time doing something a little bit different together and chat too!  Evening sessions usually include a glass of fizz and nibbles!

​

'Special' Birthdays can be catered for, hen parties or kids parties, either in your own home or held at Laura's home studio.  Bespoke evenings can be arranged, balloons and banners can be put up if required, just get in touch to chat your requirements through with Laura.

​

Laura currently also runs 4 and 6 week courses, usually held on a Monday evening.  This gives you more of an insight of the different types of glass that can be used in design.  A different project is created every week and is ready for collection when you return for the next session the following week.​
